Though Damen had only spent a matter of weeks with Laurent's men, he could easily agree. All of Laurent's men had been loyal (with the exception of Aimeric, clearly) but Jord's devotion was immeasurable. Any army would only benefit from a man like him in its ranks.

Laurent's hand was cool as he laid his fingers over Damen's, momentarily stilling his movements.

'I'm helping,' he said with a small smile as he moved to the next button. 'Unless you intend to venture out into the cold again.'
